If you don’t have any of these, get some regular white rice or even brown rice for your second day.
Step 2:
Place your phone on a stationary flat surface and use a hair drier if necessary. This will mostly depend on how wet the phone is. If you didn’t put it in a plastic bag, just put a rubber band around it to prevent the wind from blowing out the liquid or moisture that is still inside of it. But if you used a plastic bag, make sure to use a hairdryer and the rice method.
Step 3
If any buttons are not working on your device, you’ll need to purchase an anti-static cloth and some isopropyl alcohol. Use the alcohol and cloth to clean off each component of your phone (buttons, screen, battery covers, etc.) until they work properly again.
By following these steps, you may save your phone from water damage. However, these tips don’t work every time and might damage your phone further if you mess up any steps.
